Suzanne Rossi is a photographer based in Fredericksburg, Virginia and specializes in weddings, portraiture and photojournalism.
Suzanne Carr Rossi has been a photojournalist for over 20 years, though her passion for photography started long before then. With an attic full of old National Geographic magazines, her grandfather introduced photography to her when she was ten years-old.
She works for The Free Lance-Star newspaper in Fredericksburg, Virginia documenting the people and places of her community. Over the years she has won various awards for her storytelling -- The Best of Photojournalism, The Virginia News Photographers Assoc., and The Virginia Press Assoc.
Suzanne lives in Fredericksburg with her husband, Steve, and sons, Luke and Sam. And of course, "Stella" their Australian Shepard who is known to jump 6 foot fences to chase a squirrel. She is never far from their sides.
Somewhere in the middle of working, getting married and having a family, Suzanne went back to school at Mary Washington College and earned her Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies.
